Beki is the owner and principal coach at The Fitness Room, and has been at the heart of the gym since it opened. She's a qualified personal trainer and group exercise instructor, the creator of B3, and a SH1FT master trainer, alongside being mum to three. Her approach sets the tone for the whole gym, hard training, no egos, and a genuine welcome whatever your starting point.

Ant is co-owner at The Fitness Room and Beki's right hand, coaching alongside her since the gym's earliest days, coming up to 11 years now. Members say the same thing again and again: he knows how to push you hard while keeping it properly fun, no egos, solid coaching, and a lot of laughs along the way.

I've been involved in sports and fitness my entire life. Following an injury to my knee at 14, I received strength and conditioning training as part of my rehabilitation.
Because of this, I took a great interest in the gym and understanding the human body, which led me to gaining a BHSc degree in Nutrition and Exercise Science, specialising in personal fitness training.
I'm an avid sports fan, love playing golf and of course going to the gym.

Amy trains as a triathlete and hybrid racer herself, so she knows what it takes to build genuine, lasting fitness rather than a quick fix. That same approach carries into her 1:1 coaching, whether you're training for your first event, chasing a new personal best, or just want to get stronger and fitter with a plan that actually fits your life.
